The Gruvia Mission Part 1: Strategy"Gray, I'm assigning you on a mission with Juvia," Erza handed him a piece of paper from the quest board. It was a sunny afternoon. Everyone was having fun at the guild. Lucy was with Juvia, trying out her tea. Natsu was having a brawl with Gajeel. Mirajane was busy serving drinks.

"Why Juvia?" He looked at the contents. ""Fire Demon Causing Chaos In A Forest"? So you're saying its weak against ice and water? Why can't I go myself?" He leaned against the quest board. Gray wasn't very keen to go on a quest with Juvia. Her love obsession was too distracting.

Erza stared at the paper for a moment. "The fire demon is stronger than you think. ItThe Gruvia Mission Part 1: Strategy by ~LyritEmbrium
The Gruvia Mission Part 5: The Final AnswerGray and Juvia were back to reality. They were silent for a moment. It was still drizzling.

Juvia spoke first. "It's been five years...but the village is still there,"
"I said I'd destroy it one day, not soon. Keep that in mind, water girl. I decided I should let them share my pain for a while. They deserve to suffer," he laughed.
"Bullshit!! They don't deserve to suffer at all!!"
"Gray sama..." she looked at him.

"From what I saw, everything was YOUR fault. YOU signed that contract. YOU chose to take the risk. You didn't even think twice!!"
"Enough!!" The fire demon pointed at him. Gray fell on his knees.

The Gruvia Mission Part 4: Flashback"Why are you doing this? The villagers nearby are suffering with all this heat!!" Gray shouted.

"That village you speak of was my birthplace. Doran Village was my home. Until the blasted merchants I met made a contract with me. I was fooled. And now I'm stuck, cursed in this hideous body," he paused and looked at his hands.

"I used to be called Eaven Endive." He looked up. "But now I'm no more!! I'm now THE FIRE MAN!!!"  He laughed maniacally.

What a lame name, Gray thought. Juvia grimaced.

"I was a circus performer," Eaven continued. "It was 5 years ago. I played with fire around me, spinning them on sticks. Playing tricks. ManThe Gruvia Mission Part 4: Flashback by ~LyritEmbrium
The Gruvia Mission Part 3: EncounterIt was morning already. Gray woke up with Juvia's face inches away from him. His eyes widened and before he knew it he was leaning against the wall, panting. Juvia woke up and rubbed her eyes. "Is there something wrong, Gray sama?" she got up.
He looked down and realized he wasn't wearing pants. He blushed as he grabbed his clothes and struggled to put them on quickly.

"Nothing," he paused and his face turned serious. "Let's go,"
"Yes," She nodded.

They slowly walked out of the cave after the ice mage defrosted the entrance.
"No sign of it here," he looked around.
"Let's search further,"
